About

From Survival to Service

Chrysalis Sanctum was born from lived experience, recovery, and a deep commitment to healing and change. Founded by Rev. Heather Diamond Lucas, a Certified Addiction and Abuse Recovery Coach and Ceremonialist, this work bridges trauma-informed recovery support, holistic healing practices, and sacred space facilitation. Drawing from both professional training and personal transformation, Chrysalis Sanctum offers compassionate, authentic, and direct one-on-one support for those navigating addiction recovery, life transitions, spiritual growth, and personal healing. Rooted in integrity, accountability, and the belief that deep change is possible for everyone, this space exists to support individuals in recovering what trauma teaches us to forget.

History, Mission, and Vision

Our History

Chrysalis Sanctum was born from a personal journey through addiction, chronic trauma, recovery, and transformation. After beginning to use opioids at the age of twelve as a way to cope with pain, Heather eventually found a path toward healing through Ibogaine, 5-MeO-DMT, Kambo, and ongoing inner work. What began as a search for relief became a deeper calling to serve others.

Following her own detox and recovery, Heather volunteered and later worked within an Ibogaine aftercare program, supporting individuals as they transitioned from treatment into long-term recovery. These experiences led her to become a Certified Addiction and Abuse Recovery Coach and dedicate her life to helping others navigate healing, recovery, and personal transformation.

Alongside her recovery coaching work, she received training in the facilitation of Kambo and Bufo from multiple experienced practitioners. She has also supported clients in physician-supervised NAD+ detox and ketamine assisted therapy programs, working collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and clinical teams to support recovery, stabilization, and long-term wellness.

These clinical and integrative experiences deepened her understanding of how holistic recovery support can complement evidence-based care, creating a more comprehensive and compassionate approach to healing. They also informed her view of these medicines as tools that may support healing, self-discovery, and remembrance when approached with respect, preparation, and proper support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide compassionate, trauma-informed support for individuals navigating addiction recovery, life transitions, spiritual growth, and personal wholeness. Through recovery coaching, integration support, accountability, and sacred one-on-one spaces, we help clients build the tools, resilience, and self-awareness necessary for lasting change. We believe healing is not simply about overcoming challenges—it is about reclaiming purpose, reconnecting with oneself, and creating a life worth fully living.

Our Vision

We envision a world where recovery and healing are approached with compassion, dignity, and respect for each person's unique path. A world where individuals have access to supportive communities, holistic resources, and spaces that honor the connection between mind, body, spirit, community, and nervous system. Our vision is to help cultivate a culture of healing that empowers people to break cycles, reclaim their lives, and transform their experiences into wisdom, purpose, and service.
